That Year in Prague and Post-Traumatic Growth with Margaret McNab | The Buddy Ruski Show (Ep. 19)

My guest is Margaret McNab.

Margaret is a marketing specialist based in Durham, North Carolina.

We shared a lovely conversation about growing up in Montana, her origins in Oregon as a college student at the University of Oregon in Eugene, that one year in Prague (spicy) and how she got to Durham in 2009. Margaret led Public Relations for Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau (what is now Discover Durham) from 2010-2012, during a pivotal time in Durham’s recent history.

She has been a champion of freelancers and gig workers for years through her work leading the Freelance League of NC and beyond. Margaret constantly finds herself bouncing back and forth between the freelance lifestyle and the corporate job, but as you’ll learn during the podcast, her heart tends to favor one over the other.

As always, thank you for listening.
Without further ado, here’s Margaret McNab.
